Video of panel-discussion Global trends of citizen engagement in municipal planning: What can we learn from other countries? - recording from the online conference Citizen engagement in municipal planning: Latvia's example and global trends.

On 27th of November, 2020 Centre for Public Policy PROVIDUS in cooperation with Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development Republic of Latvia organzed an online conference Citizen engagement in municipal planning: Latvia’s example and global trends.

Three panel-discussions were organized as a part of the conference: (1) What can be learnt from Latvia’s local governments? Learning from experience. (Latvian language discussion); (2) Global trends of citizen engagement in municipal planning: What can we learn from other countries? (English language discussion); (3) Civil society & citizens as a moving force for change: How can citizens cooperate with municipality, to promote change? (Latvian language discussion)
