Online conference Citizen engagement in municipal planning: Latvia’s example and global trends

Centre for Public Policy PROVIDUS in cooperation with Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development Republic of Latvia invites you to participate in an online conference Citizen engagement in municipal planning: Latvia's example and global trends, which will take place on 27th of November, 2020 from 10:00 until 16:45.

Conference will gather together experts and activists in order to find new ways on promoting and improving citizen engagement in municipal planning processes. During the conference Centre for Public Policy PROVIDUS will present their latest research – Citizen involvement in preparation of municipal planning documents: Evaluation of Latvia’s municipalities. In addition to that, participants of the conference are invited to participate in discussion panels, where such topics as current citizen involvement in Latvia’s municipalities, citizen engagement trends abroad and cooperation between civil society and municipalities will be covered.
