The aim of the project is to promote analytically grounded public discourse on migration and forced displacement in Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland, strengthening strategic and long-term understanding of migration management that aligns with international legal standards.

The project is based in the position that asylum and migration should be regarded as a long-term policy area, rather than a series of episodic crises. The project’s central element is a coordinated cross border campaign based on quarterly opinion pieces in the media, combining experience, data, and policy analysis.

The main target groups include journalists, news editors, opinion leaders, and the wider public, reached through national-level media channels.

The projects tasks will include:

  • Preparing a quarterly series of articles, defining migration as a long-term policy area.
  • Disseminating the quarterly pieces through existing discussion platforms and national-level media channels.
  • Strengthening cross-border analytical cooperation.

The project will be implemented in collaboration with partners from Lithuania-based Diversity Development Group as (as a lead partner), and Poland-based Institute of Public Affairs.
