The research aims to analyze and explore the legal framework of 3 European Union countries and practical experience in assessing the risk of violence, and violence prevention enforcement, as well as provide guidance and recommendations to facilitate and ensure preventive coercive measures system in Latvia.
The research was carried out in project Outstanding problems of restorative justice, perspective solutions within the Euroepan Union. The research is co-financed from the Project No. JUST/2010/JPEN/AG/1546 “Current Problems of Restorative Justice, Solution Prospects in European Union” of the European Commission Special Program “Criminal Law”.
