Viktorija Prituļaka

Viktorija Prituļaka is a public policy expert specializing in integration and social cohesion.

Her research interests include integration policy, migration, the integration of Ukrainian civilians in Latvia, and the impact of Russia's war against Ukraine on society and public policy.

Alongside her academic work, Viktorija has practical experience in integration policy and intercultural cooperation. She has worked on the integration of Ukrainian civilians within both national and local government institutions and has participated in interinstitutional cooperation and public policy initiatives related to social cohesion, civic participation, and support for Ukraine.

Viktorija is a researcher and PhD candidate whose academic work focuses on integration policy, language policy, and social cohesion. Her research examines the role of the state language policy in the integration of Ukrainian civilians in Latvia, with particular attention to the implementation of public policy and its impact on civic participation, sense of belonging, and social cohesion.

She holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Latvia and a Master's degree in Applied Translation from Ventspils University of Applied Sciences. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of Latvia, where her dissertation focuses on the linguistic integration of Ukrainian civilians in Latvia.
