Kaspars Bērziņš

Kaspars Bērziņš is a policy consultant with 25 years of international experience in public sector reforms, organizational development and strategic planning, policy development, coordination, implementation and evaluation. He studied policy implementation at the Institute of Technology (PhD) and public management at Syracuse University (MPA). He has been an advisor to the Ministers of Education and Science, Economics and Health on policy issues, has led large-scale projects as well as structural units in the private sector. Kaspars has extensive experience in the political process, cooperation with specialists and leaders from different countries, sectors and levels, coordination and conflict resolution, work with international organizations and donors. His specialization is research, innovation and economic development policies. He is interested in the practical feasibility of policies, taking into account their complexity, political processes, organizations and their cultures, capacities, interests of parties, and other factors.
