Valts Kalniņš


Valts is a Good Governance and Anti-Corruption expert with 10 years of teaching and training experience. He has trained public officials and civil society experts from a number of countries, including Latvia, Moldova, Mongolia, Palestine, Russia, Tajikistan, and countries of the Western Balkans as part of efforts of international actors such as the European Union, the Council of Europe and OECD to help developing anti-corruption policies and strengthen public-sector ethics.

Iveta is a well-known public policy researcher in Latvia and an expert in Participatory Policy-making and e-Democracy. She is co-author of Opportunities for Organised Civil Society to Influence EU Decision-Making (2014) and a number of other studies on participation and citizenship. Iveta has several years’ experience of training public officials and NGO representatives.

Maria is a public policy expert and trainer with more than 12 years of experience in areas including Education Policy, Good Governance, Migration and Integration. She has led a number of international comparative studies and has produced policy research and evaluations for the European Commission. Her experience of work in the public and private sectors includes Latvia and Belgium, and she has trained public officials and NGO representatives from more than 15 countries, including Central and Eastern Europe, Western Balkans, South Caucasus and Central Asia.
